Hi, my name is Maddi. I had a case of E-coli that developed into hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). I spent a month in the hospital. I was very sick and had several blood tranfusions and many days of dialysis. During my stay, the hospital, my friends and family gave me so much I would like to give something back. I especially liked the blankets that comforted me so much. I talked my mom into creating Maddi's Lovelies. When you purchase a blanket or shawl we create another one to give to a children's hospital to be shared with another child or person that needs support.
